University will strengthen Lesotho’s creative human capital

Human capital is the defining asset of the 21st century and it constitutes a crucial part of the engine that drives the current knowledge-based economy.

Therefore institutions of higher learning play a pre-eminent role in producing knowledgeable, skilled and innovative human resource. With the rapid changes and technological revolution taking place globally, the ability to change and embrace new method is becoming increasingly important.

In view of such emerging trends, learning institutions around the world are constantly expanding and innovating educational opportunities and is increasingly engaged in international linkages or collaborative partnerships with other countries on enabling transformation of human capital.

The opening of Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in Maseru, is such example of these emerging trends and will clearly establish sound education for the people of Lesotho.
