Associate Degree inVideography

Since the advent of the digital camera in the 20th century, the videography market has grown and is rapidly relegating the film camera into the pages of history.

In the global environment of today, there is no doubt that videography, the process of recording images on electronic media, is the preferred alternative to cinematography, the recording of images on fim stock.

The advent of the internet has given videography a new impetus, creating and expanding more fields than just shooting video with a digital camera. The videography umbrella now includes digital animation, gaming and spatial imaging.

The programme aims to develop students in various multimedia skills in videography through practical classes and  production projects apart from intensive theoretical instructions.

They will explore innovative techniques in the recoding of images and sounds to produce corporate videos, documentaries and dramas, with emphasis on the creative potential and application of videography in contemporary communication.
